私は大学院で、量子コンピュータによる高速処理を光で代替する研究を行っています。ここで、定期的にミーティングを行い、短期的な目標設定を欠かさず日々取り組んでいます。 量子コンピュータとは、量子の特性を利用し、医薬品の開発やビッグデータ解析分野などに革新をもたらし得る超高速計算処理が可能な計算機です。しかし、量子の取り扱いの難しさ等の課題が多い為、光を利用した代替手法を考案しました。この手法では、「数字の大きさ」を「光の明るさ」に対応させて処理を行います。光は、明るさ調整に用いる複数のデバイスに並列に入射し、光速で出力されるので、高速な処理が可能です。課題は、光の明るさ減衰などが原因で生じる理想計算結果との誤差です。これに対し、光の明るさを適切に調整する様々なフィルタ設計を試みることで、答えが存在する範囲を絞り込むことに成功しました。今後は、絞り込み精度の向上、光学系の大規模化を目指します。
I study in graduate school "optical method to substitute high speed processing in quantum computer ". I have a meeting regularly, and set a small goal frequently. Quantum computer is a calculator use quantum properties, innovate drug development and big data analysis. However, it is difficult to handle quantum , so I use light. In the proposed method, adapt magnitude to amplitude of the light. Light incident devices in parallel, output in high speed of light, so this processing is so fast. It is difficult to prevent causing error to ideal output. I design filter adjust the brightness of the light in trial and error, so I achieve of success in narrowing down the answer. From now on , I want to improve the accuracy, and design large scale optical system.
(「データを駆使した音楽ライブ」です。私は、所属するジャズ音楽部で、年に1度の定期演奏会の客数(例年40人以下)を増やす為、1ヵ月にわたる野外宣伝ライブを企画しました。ライブ中の課題は、足を留めて下さるお客様の数が伸び悩むことでした。私は、今得られる情報を徹底的に分析するべきだと考えました。そこで部員に協力を求め、各曲に対するお客様の表情や拍手の大きさのdB数などを、年齢層別に事細かに記録しました。データをExcelにまとめてミーティングに活用した所、人気あるいは不人気な演奏部分が浮き彫りになったので、曲目や構成を議論し、翌日程の演奏に活かしました。特に、年代別のHit曲のアレンジ演奏が人気だったので、積極的に取り入れました。取り組みの結果、次第に客数は増えて宣伝も捗り、本番の演奏会では100人近くのお客様の動員を果たしました。分析を怠らず、行動にまで移すことが重要と考えます。)
It is "Music live utilize DATA". In my music club, I planned outdoor live for the purpose of increasing the number of audience in subscription concert. In this live, it was lower that listening our live. I thought we must analyze DATA. So, I recorded expression and size of applause of audience. I told this DATA all club members, and discussed. We grasped popular and unpopular songs , so maked use of this knowledge in later. In particular, arrange of hit songs in each of the age was popular. As a result, gradually the number of audience in this outdoor live increased, so we could advertise the subscription concert, it was mobilized 100 people (it was precious year's double!). Reflection point was we should have used data our daily life. We shouldn't have performed only for themselves.
